Harunawas chosen as one of Tele Asa's Angel Eyes in 2003 along with Nemoto Harumi, Ito Ai, and Sakuragi Mutsuko among others. In 2004, she was a hit as a swimsuit model for the Parco department store chain which featured huge ads of her across Tokyo. In her last 3 years she has continued to make DVDs and photobooks and launched a music career with her first single in 2006 Let Me Love You.
